Ted
Weiant has been changing the way we think about food for over twenty years. He
began with The
Elegant Picnic in Stockbridge,
Massachusetts by preparing Five Course Victorian Picnics for two: reinventing
Apple Smoked Salmon, Pheasant Under Glass and Smoked loins of Lamb for the
discriminating palate. From the moment the doors opened, the food, the
presentation and service were all hailed by food critics across the United
States and Europe.
In New York, he prepared specialty foods for Dean and
Delucca and Peter Dent. He has catered parties from 6 - 250 for the Rich and
Famous both in New York and Los Angeles.
In Los Angeles has taught Executives in the Film and Television
Industry how to cook and entertain. His recipes have been included in
several books and food articles including The Boston Globe and The New York
Times. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Producer Joan Stein.
